    The Terrain

The journey to Sunshine Peak takes you through big-mountain terrain unlike anything accessible by gondola. The upper sections are pure alpine — snowfields, moraines, ridges, peaks, couloirs, and chutes stretching across the horizon.

As you descend, the terrain transitions to forest with massive old-growth trees. The tree skiing on the way down to Drang is some of the best you'll ever experience — steep sections mixed with mellower glades, all through pristine ancient forest.

The final descent follows a creek that leads to Drang village, where your taxi awaits for the journey back to Gulmarg. The whole experience is an unforgettable Himalayan adventure that few skiers ever get to experience.

    Alternative Start: Top Station Overnight

For an even earlier start, it's possible to spend the night at the top station of the Gulmarg Gondola. This gives you a head start on the approach and more time on the mountain for skiing. Ask your guide about this option when booking.

All itineraries can be customized based on group fitness, weather conditions, and objectives.
